Job description
The Graphic Designer will create original, engaging graphics and/or infographics for digital and print collateral including but not limited to social media channels, email campaigns, appeals, and blog content, while maintaining consistency with Mercy Housing’s established branding. Work with stakeholders to understand, conceptualize, design, and edit materials that meet their needs and align with Mercy Housing brand standards for print and digital channels. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

Duties:
- Create original, engaging graphics and/or infographics for digital and print collateral including but not limited to social media channels, email campaigns, appeals, and blog content, while maintaining consistency with Mercy Housing’s established branding.
- Design printed pieces, including newsletters, magazines, and collateral to support fundraising communications both nationally and locally.
- Work directly with stakeholders to understand their graphic needs. Create, design, and edit materials to meet their needs.
- Create and distribute email communications using CRM software.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Three (3) years of experience in-house or at an agency performing graphic design responsibilities.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator in a Windows environment.
- Experience in editing websites, creating webpages, and troubleshooting issues in HTML and CSS (front-end).
- Demonstrated knowledge of printing procedures, including preparing files, selecting media, and proofing.
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be a quick-learner, able to work independently and within a team.
- Takes feedback well and applies to their job task.
