The ideal candidate is someone who understands the impact of graphics on our brand, business development, communications and marketing initiatives, and can work alongside a diverse group to develop graphic design solutions that advance RDG’s mission to Create. Essential Job Functions

• Reinforce adherence to and consistency of the RDG brand and brand elements
• Develop graphics to support internal communications messages
• Create graphic design solutions consistent with branding guidelines to support the RDG brand and development of collateral templates, proposals, marketing and interoffice displays, presentations, website content, social media messages, newsletters, events, recruiting tools and advertisements
• Receive direction and execute tasks responsibly and effectively within the business development, communications and marketing team

Requirements

• Understanding of graphic design techniques and principles with strong attention to detail
• Effective time management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• A strong sense of design with great problem-solving skills who can effectively communicate design ideas and solutions
• Flexibility to work collaboratively and independently
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design
• 3 to 5 years of experience working in a graphic design role in an agency, design firm or other similar industry
• Compelling portfolio, demonstrating diverse work and a strong understanding of graphic design principles
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Creative and collaborative experience supporting business development, communications and marketing initiatives
• Must have advanced skills and knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Additional Beneficial Skills

• Experience working with or for a media or advertising company
• Photography and photography editing experience
• Video and motion graphics (Adobe Premiere, After Effects)
