Graphic Designer at The Island in Pigeon Forge

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Island in Pigeon Forge is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to report to the Director of Marketing. The Graphic designer is responsible for upholding overall brand image and delivering high quality creative materials. The candidate should be a talented designer with diverse integrated experience that includes print and digital marketing. Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple brands and be a motivated team player able to take direction and complete assigned tasks.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  Design and production of print and digital solutions across advertising and marketing projects including brochures, logos, print and digital ads, profile sheets, point of sale, restaurant menus and special event promotional materials. Exceptional skills for design, layout, typography, photo retouching, photo editing, print production and file delivery.
• Create and edit video menus, marquee signage and special event videos

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• 
  Must have strong knowledge and expert level practical experience in the Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator and Macintosh platform. Interest in developing Adobe After Effects capability.
• Internal drive for high-quality designs
• Excellent collaboration skills
• Manage multiple simultaneous projects from assignment through final delivery
• Strong sense of urgency and professional dedication
• Strong verbal communication skills, dependable, detail-oriented and well organized
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Cooperation and the ability to collaborate in a team and with others across the organization
• Must have reliable transportation
• Be a self-starter and show initiative

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design with 4+ years of graphic design experience
• Should have strong knowledge of print production procedures, timelines and printing terminology
• Must be able to work at a computer workstation for extended periods of time
• Regular on-site attendance is required
