The Graphic Designer plans, creates, and produces various creative materials within a wide variety of print and web-based mediums. Attention to detail, professional Adobe software skills, and the ability to manage multiple creative projects at once are paramount. Conceptual skills are highly valued, as well as the ability to execute at a high-level, within tight deadlines, with multiple clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Create materials, including but not limited to, print/digital campaigns, motion graphics, advertisements, large format materials, signage, branding, and all other collateral requests from various departments.
- Assist in the creation, development, and management of all 7 Cedars Resort digital marketing materials and websites.
- Create and produce creative content from scratch; experience in file management and art organization is a must.
- Collaborate with other designers; deliver and receive criticism in consistent, constructive, professional manner.
- Manage/Maintain branding guidelines for all 7 Cedars' brands (logos, typography, color palettes); ensure creative guidelines remain consistent across all media/materials.
- Professional level experience with industry established design principles—print layout design, web design, and production procedures.
- Professional level experience in proofreading and editorial practices; ensure all public-facing materials are clear, concise, and grammatically correct in messaging.
- Provide communicative support to all 7 Cedars' departments; assist in problem solving, marketing strategy, and promotional ideation across all aspects of 7 Cedars’ businesses.
- Extraordinary communication skills; critical-thinking problem solver; ability to create and implement solutions.
- Light administrative duties: miscellaneous tasks/duties as assigned.
- Must follow all safety rules and regulations; follow all general and department policies and procedures.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment meeting tight deadlines, prioritizing workflow, and communicating/responding to emails and calls quickly and effectively.
- Ability to take creative direction, defend designs, and find solutions that ensure impactful communication.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BA in Graphic Design (or accredited education in graphic design), with advanced, working knowledge in creative standards and practices, as well as advanced/professional level production skills in Adobe Creative Suite – specifically InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, and Photoshop.
- 2+ years of professional graphic design experience working in collaborative, deadline-oriented environment. Agency or In-House experience is preferred.
- Advanced/Professional level experience working with Mac OSX and/or Windows operating system. Must know how to maintain operating systems, manage software updates, and have working knowledge in printing processes.
- Working experience in basic web development/design (HTML & WordPress)
- Creative thinker who can design and produce new and exciting artwork on a regular basis in a fast-paced, commercial design department.
- Strong critical thinker and problem solver, with demonstrable abilities in file organization, time-management, and the ability to communicate in a clear, effective, and timely manner.
- Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner.
- Must provide current digital samples of recent work via website or PDF.
- Must provide current professional reference that can speak directly to your Adobe Creative Suite skillset.
