Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure personal appearance and uniforms are clean and professional and in accordance with Resort policy, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities and thank guest with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g. small print). Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g. to identify defects). Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Perform all other reasonable job duties as requested.

  • Schedules vary; typical hours are 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.; to include holidays and weekends
  • Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guests name when possible.
  • Address guests service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell.
  • Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests with an aim to resolving issues, delight and build trust.
  • Anticipate guest needs, including asking questions of guests to better understand their needs and watching/listening to guest preferences and acting on them whenever possible.
  • When appropriate, engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions/offerings.

Assist other employees to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service

  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette including answering the phone in a pleasant manner, using the guests name, transferring calls to appropriate person/department, requesting permission before placing the caller on hold, taking and relaying messages, and allowing the caller to end the call.
  • Speak to guests and employees in English using clear, appropriate and professional language.
  • Talk with and listen to other employees to effectively exchange information.
  • Provide assistance to other employees ensuring they understand their tasks.
  • Support all other employees and treat them with dignity and respect.
  • Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures including the sitting area in the lobby of The Lodge adjacent to the Grab and Go.
  • Ensure that coffee makers, and other equipment is turned on/off at the appropriate times.
  • Able to organize and set up all menu items and specialty orders which may be prepared by the kitchen with speed and accuracy.
  • Notify management of maintenance repairs issues.
  • Take and assemble guest orders, inclusive of all condiments and utensils.
  • Sweep adjacent area floors and remove all trash.
  • Deliver guest orders to guests rooms within time quoted when order is received.
  • Assemble and deliver guest amenities as pear the amenity order form received by the outlet.??
  • Brew coffees, following standards to ensure freshness.
  • Re-stock coffee or expresso machines with beans and maintain inventory for cups, syrups and other related items.
  • Bus and wipe down counter and tables as customers leave sitting area.
  • Follow all state and local laws for distributing alcohol responsibly.
