POSITION OBJECTIVE

A circular economy process specialist should have technical expertise, analytical and strategic, interpersonal skills, project management skills, and a commitment to sustainability. They need to analyze complex processes, communicate effectively, lead cross functional teams, think long-term, and prioritize waste reduction and resource conservation.


  • The Service Global Process Specialist (GPS), Circular Economy role within Service Operations is a global role supporting the Global CC Service Business. The role reports into the Service Global Process Manager (GPM) within PSD Service Operations.
  • Influence MORE Service and relevant Service Operations applications strategy and roadmap. You will add focus on financial impact influenced by Reman, Service Exchange, Repair & Return, and core reuse.
  • Will drive improved Service Operations through process template development, maintenance, and compliance. You will collaborate with cross functional process streams to ensure continuity and secure a global network of relevant stakeholders of your processes.
  • Will have responsibility to oversee process development, testing, documentation, and compliance. This includes the transfer of template updates throughout the M3 live CC environments globally.
  • Participate and contribute within the Global Process Organization (GPO) team with strategic activities, targets, and goals are set and met.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Be a change agent and a driver of implementing new Ways of Working and our service processes.

Process Management

  • Drive the service process template development in a prioritized and consistent manner within agreed framework for scope, schedule, and resources.
  • Review and improve processes to include Circular Economy vision and strategy.
  • Monitor and secure compliance with Service processes and procedures.

Change management:

  • Engage with MORE, GPM, BKU, stakeholders/users.
  • Coordinate functional verification after changes and upgrades.

Operations:

  • Follow-up and report including KPI's and relevant costs.
  • Promote applications.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Must have:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Service operations or Technical Services ideally in an existing Epiroc CC or PSd Hub.
  • Strong understanding of Epiroc financial structure.
  • Excellent knowledge of Service Operations processes, and best practice.
  • Overall understanding of end-to-end Business processes in Epiroc CCs.
  • Excellent communication skills in English speaking and writing.


Additional experience

  • Additional languages.
  • Experience from working in international environment.
  • People, project management, and process experience.
  • Experience from working with IS/IT applications on a general basis.


Location and travel

The location for this role is preferably Örebro, Sweden, but other locations in the proximity of Epiroc offices may be considered. Occasional travel might be required in this role.

The role can be performed in a hybrid way. It is a way of working that offers flexibility and allows for a better balance between work and private life, which also promotes well-being. The exact split between on-site and remote work is up to further agreement.
