Sagepoint Home Care serves the entire Tri-County area: CHARLES, ST. MARY’S, AND CALVERT COUNTIES

Sagepoint is looking for Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNA) to provide high-quality assistance to the sick, elderly, and disabled in the comfort of their homes (1-on-1 care).

GNA Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADL): bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, ambulating, transferring
• Assist clients with instrumental activities of daily living (IADL): housekeeping, laundry, medication reminders, meal preparation, grocery shopping, transportation
• Support client through companionship
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies

GNA Skills:

• Excellent time management and customer service
• Effective communication
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking with attention to dietary constraints

Job Requirements:

• Active GNA license in the state of MD
• COVID-19 Vaccine
• Certified in CPR and First Aid
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report
• Auto insurance
• Adhere to health and safety standards
