Job description
Non-profit housing corporation is looking to hire a Maintenance Worker for a Senior Housing Complex located in Carmel, NY. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday with some afterhours/weekend on call responsibilities. Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain positive attitude with tenants is essential.
Individual must have the ability to troubleshoot with little or no supervision and be able to lift, push or pull 50 lbs. Employee must have plumbing and electrical knowledge, as well as basic carpentry skills. Experience in painting and cleaning for apartment rehabs is required.
Individual must have a valid driver's license.
Building and grounds are smoke free.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
