Moore Advanced has a client that is seeking General Labor Associates in Wilkesboro, NC.

Vaccine Mandate- 1st round of vaccine shot before start date.

Hiring for 2 shifts

1st shift- 8am-5pm

2nd shift 5pm- 2am

Must make sure you bundle up with some warm gear due to working in a refrigerated warehouse @ 30-40 Degrees

JOB TITLE: MEAT PACKER

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

The essential functions of this position includes, but is not limited to:

• From a standing position pick up poultry parts weighing 0.43 - 0.56 pounds and place in trays from a bend to a conveyor placed at waist level.

• Visually Inspect and Grade parts to be packed and pack parts approx. 40- 60 parts/min.in accordance with established procedures.

• Place downgrade/rejected parts in appropriate containers provided in procedures.

• Must be able to tolerate cool and damp conditions.

• Must reach 12-18 inches to belt at waist high while standing on a fabricated platform for up to 8 hours.

• Use of both hands and arms required.

• All other duties that may be assigned

• Use both hands and arms to pick up and pack poultry parts weighing 0.43- 0.56 pounds and place packed parts on a waist high conveyor.

• Use hands and arms to reach packing trays (approx. head level with 18-24 inch reach.

• Lift a minimum of 2-5 pounds with repetitive lifting of 3-6 pounds throughout the work shift.

• Standing 100% of the work shift (Normally 8 hours with one 45 min break)

• Minimal bending and reaching required getting trays and keeping Poultry parts within easy reach.

Scales

Gloves and water/skid proof footwear.

Apron

Must wear required PPE ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair bonnet and/or beard guard.

NO JEWELRY AND NO RIP JEANS

MINIMUM EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, DIPLOMA, OR TECHNICAL EXPERTISE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB FUNCTION.

Must be able to communicate with others.

Must be able to count.
