Our Non-Woven Fiber manufacturing facility located in Statesville, NC is currently hiring for a Warehouse Packer to work either Sunday-Tuesday OR Wednesday-Friday with every other Saturday, 7AM-7PM. That's right, CHOOSE THE DAYS YOU WANT TO WORK!

Job Responsibilities:

• Must package and load material to specifications
• Must package, doff, and load material to specifications described on each customer order.
• Conforms to the proper reading and understanding of Wm T Burnett production schedule and ordered pick lists.
• Performs visual inspection of fiber and finished rolls. Removing all processed waste to its designated area.
• Ensure knowledge of tube cores, packaging materials and stock areas for each. Learn mechanical/electrical parts of wind-up and their significant purposes.
• Comply with lock-out, tag-out procedures.
• Complies with all safety rules and requirements and refers any unresolved safety issues to the Shift Manager.
• Ensure great housekeeping and organizational skills of production line. Ensure great communication between team members.
• Conforms to the proper reading and understanding of WTB production schedule and packing
• Performs visual inspections of fiber and finished rolls. Removing all processed waste to its designated area
• Ensure knowledge of packaging materials and stock areas for each material
• Complies with all safety rules and regulations. Refers any unresolved safety issues to the shift manager
• Ensures good housekeeping and organizational skills of production line
• Strong communication skills between employee and team members

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
• The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
• Must be able to stand for an extended period of time.

Work Environment:

• Ability to work in an environment with moderate noise levels, excessive heat and vibrations, fumes and airborne particles, as well as Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
• Ability to get along well with co-workers.
