Seeking a qualified candidate to work as a laborer on a mid-stream stevedoring rig based out of our American River Transportation Company (ARTCo) in Waggaman, LA. Job Responsibilities: follow the direction of ARTCo personnel and Contractor Leadman in operations and care of stevedoring production assets. Housekeeping, cleaning and maintenance of production equipment and associated structures. Assist with stevedoring activities including barge and ship loading and unloading. Ability to follow direction and execute tasks under the supervision of the operations management. Reading and writing skills sufficient to comprehend/complete a variety of documents. Ability to work in a flexible schedule; must allow for changes in assignments, and priorities depending upon identified needs of the operations. Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team. Must be able to work in all types of climates. Promote the ADM Way and core Values. Must have a demonstrated history of safe work behavior and a sincere desire to follow and improve upon safety policies and procedures. Ability to work a rotating morning/evening shift, extended hours, evenings, weekends and Holidays Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate will be able to: lift at least 50 pounds; work at various heights; sit, stand, kneel, crawl, and bend in various conditions; work in hot, cold or dusty conditions; and provide high-quality customer service.

Salary: $18.00 - $20.25 per hour
