General Laborers - Field Team Members
Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, NY
Full Time and Part Time Available (weekday and weekend)
HIRING IMMEDIATELY! (If part time, you must be available at least two days per week)

Pay: $18-$25 per hour (base rate plus profit sharing, for drivers) before tips!
We're a fun and fast-paced operation that helps people in our community get rid of unwanted items, responsibly. And, we do it like no one else with our professional, on-time service, clean shiny trucks, and friendly uniformed team.

What you’ll be doing as a Field Team Member:
- Customer Service: WOWing every customer with a friendly, positive attitude and exceptional service
- Truck Operations: Safe driving and loading of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? trucks with a team member (so a valid standard driver’s license is required)
- Junk Removal: Heavy and light lifting required for removal of "junk" from residential and commercial client locations (i.e. couches, chairs, appliances, recyclables, debris, yard, and garage junk)
- Marketing: Enthusiastically advocate for our brand to all you meet and encounter
- Sales: Providing estimates to customers that call us for quotes to have items removed and educating them on how we safely dispose of, recycle, and/or donate what we can to keep as much out of landfills as possible - because we all need to care about our planet.
- Safety: Commitment to the safe and professional navigation and driving of trucks and intelligent and efficient loading & unloading of customers’ belongings.
- Professional & Uniformed: We always wear uniforms and provide you with what you need (shirts, sweaters, coats, hats, gloves) to represent 1-800-GOT-JUNK? and make a great impression.
Qualifications & Requirements:
You have a great attitude, are reliable, hardworking and have a valid standard driver’s license. You’re 23+ years of age (required for insurance purposes) and have the physical stamina to lift/carry 50 pounds repeatedly. Previous experience in general labor, customer services and/or sales is a plus, but isn’t required - we train happy, hardworking individuals.
