Job description

We are looking for a high-energy, creative, dedicated individual to assist us with day to day responsibilities of our high-end, commercial/residential art gallery and frame shop.

You will be responsible for the following duties

• Greet clients, answer questions and field inquiries.
• Assist in managing phone/email correspondence and client inquires.
• Proficient in gallery's information technology and computer system (training provided).
• Assist in coordinating resources and information for special client projects.
• Assis in design and layout of artwork
• Assist in coordinating and working in-house and public events, and mailing invitations when scheduled.
• Responsible for rotation of artwork and overall upkeep of gallery.
• Perform opening and closing duties for the gallery.
• Gallery errands.

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Punctuality is a must
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
• Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
• Courteous conduct, attention to detail, and client service skills are a must.
• Communicate constructively and listen actively.
• Function as an active participant, cooperating and pitching in to help other team members.
• Flexibility, adapting to changing deadlines and situations.
• Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic a must
• Friendly, helpful and reliable - a must.
• As this is a high-end gallery, professional attire is always required.
• Ability to remember names and faces.
• Background/interest in art or great sense of design is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
