Our company, Apotheco Pharmacy Troy LLC , is searching for a Licensed Pharmacist.

This is a full-time position

Salary is based on upon experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will be primarily responsible for:

  • Dispensing prescribed medications in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations for the Company,
  • Performing all other obligations and responsibilities as required under laws and regulations applicable to your services as in this role,
  • Providing consultation and other pharmacy services to patients,
  • Providing supervision of support staff of the Company, provided that your duties will also include all other functions reasonably assigned to you that are consistent with your title.

During your period of employment, you will devote your best efforts and energy to your obligations herein and to the affairs of the Company.*

The Pharmacist will provide direction related to quality, clinical and compliance for Apotheco Pharmacy operations initiatives in compliance with state and federal laws. Must have excellent customer service skills and be detailed oriented.

Education/Experience:
Have earned a BS or Pharm D degree from an accredited pharmacy school.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft products.
Information Security Expectations:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to abide by Apotheco information security policies, employee handbook and security and privacy regulatory requirements. Each employee is responsible for the secure and appropriate handling of Apotheco information, information received by customers, other companies and/or external parties.

  • Strong drug product and clinical pharmacy knowledge
  • Familiar with clinical program components, formulary designs, prescription benefit trends, and PA programs
  • Time management skills
  • Written and Oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and self-motivated
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Window, Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

  • Strong team building and leadership skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to professionalism
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
