PART TIME & FULL TIME PRIVATE PRACTICE COUNSELOR

TCI has started a school-based process (The Student Initiative) with both Montour and Sto Rox school districts. These students are working with their school SAP team and if referred, are then seen in school for their private therapy needs.

We are looking for someone who has strong leadership skills, desire to obtain supervisor training, motivated community relations networking, highly driven, and looking to invest within the private practice and community setting to further their clinical skill set.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide individual counseling
• Complete psychological assessments for individuals and maintain required charting documentation.
• Maintain personal client schedule and all client related needs
• Develop an effective working relationship with various community programs (psychiatrists, court systems, physician offices, probation, etc)
• Part time contracts are considered 10-15 hours per week of direct client care
• Full time contracts are considered 30+ hours per week of direct client care
• Work effectively independently and in a group setting
• Desire to grow personally and professionally
• Attend regular group supervision series and or treatment team

Job Requirements:

• Preferred 1 year post Master’s degree with 1 year of relevant counseling/mental health employment experience
• License (LPC/LCSW) not required but must be actively willing to collect hours towards licensure.
• Act 33/34 Clearances current within one (1) year, FBI Clearance, Valid current PA Driver’s License, up to 90 days to collect upon hire.
