Stream Montessori School

Stream Montessori School in Warren, NJ is looking for a committed nurturing infant and toddler teacher to ensure that the basic and educational needs of our students are met. The ideal candidate will be passionate for the well-being of the children and ensure that the learning environment remains safe at all times; be an excellent role model for our students; possess a thorough understanding of the contextual factors that shape early childhood development. You will be required to prepare and deliver classroom activities, communicate with staff and parents.

Qualification:

Education and Certification:

High School Diploma/GED

Excellent communications skills both verbally and written

Capacity to multitask in classroom environments

Working experience

Classroom teaching/assistant experience preferred

Montessori school experience is a plus.

Responsibility

Able to observe the student needs & interests

Work with individual and group students

Encouraging students positive self image and support independence

Familiarity with health safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms

Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
Follow CDC and state regulation and recommendations. Extra air purifiers are used to ensure good ventilation and healthy environment . Common surface is sanitized regularly. Vaccination required. Negative Covid-19 test result needed before entering school.

• Township of Warren, NJ 07059: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Required)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Required)
