Job description

The Forklift Operator’s main responsibility is to load and unload trailers on the Dock with 95% of work time spent on the Forklift. This is a cross-dock environment and involves working with a team of other operators.

Forklift Operation:

• Load and unload trailers
• Build loads to ready multiple trailers for departure
• Ensure accurate freight inventory
• Some manual material handling as needed

Work Schedule:

• Monday thru Friday
• 3am start time
• End times may vary depending on freight volume

Qualifications:

• 1-year experience operating Forklift
• Over 18 years old with High School Diploma or equivalent
• Cross-dock experience and/or shipping/receiving experience preferred
