FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER

Location: Kenneth City

Hours: 15-20 hours per week

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team and help streamline our financial processes.

Job Description: As a Part-Time Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial activities of our business. This hybrid role will require both in-person and remote work, with flexibility in scheduling. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial records, while also providing valuable insights to help us make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
  • Track and manage inventory, including reconciliation and adjustments as needed
  • Calculate and record the cost of goods sold (COGS) and maintain proper documentation
  • Generate and send invoices to customers, follow up on outstanding payments, and resolve any billing discrepancies
  • Reconcile bank and credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
  • Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations and deadlines
  • Perform other financial tasks and ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a full charge bookkeeper or in a similar role
  • Proficient in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Xero or similar
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and applicable financial regulations
  • Strong understanding of Excel and Quickbooks Desktop

This job is hybrid because there are some activities such as inventory and manufacturing records that are on-premise.
