As a Medical Assistant, you represent the face of Wee Care Pediatrics and Over the Rainbow Pediatric Urgent Care. You are the first to interact with the patient and parents so you set the tone for each visit. It's very important to give them a great first impression so they know they can expect nothing less than exceptional care.

We are looking for a highly motivated, outgoing and energetic Medical Assistant for a front office position for a fast paced office. Medical Assistants should provide a warm and welcoming experience throughout the entire office. Great service starts from the beginning and continues until our Wee little ones leave our office.

Most importantly, we focus on providing a positive, fun and unique experience for our patients. We want them to have a great visit and want you to be happy you chose Wee Care Pediatrics/Over the Rainbow Pediatric Urgent Care as your new work family.

Pediatric experience is highly desirable. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.

Front office responsibilities include:

• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits in detailed format. Must have previous experience with medical insurance verifications.
• Have advanced knowledge of deductibles and understand COB's and how to address it with patients. Will be quizzed on knowledge and asked to explain eligibility details.
• Answer phones and appointment scheduling, knowledge of the childhood appointment schedule as well as vaccine schedule
• Patient Check in/ Check out
• Collect patient balances, copays, deductibles and account look up
• Document Scanning/Uploading
• Must be a team player and work well with others.

**Pay Depends on experience** Candidates will be tested on department knowledge**

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
