Job responsibilities
- Develop, customize and maintain WooCommerce website and online stores.
- Troubleshoot issues with WooCommerce with payment gateway, such as Authorize.Net, to ensure smooth online transactions.
- Collaborate with designers, developers and project managers to create seamless user experiences for online customers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to WooCommerce, including technical and functional issues.
- Optimize the performance of WooCommerce websites to ensure fast loading times and smooth browsing experiences.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices and emerging technologies in ecommerce and WooCommerce development.
- Provide training and support to team members and clients on WooCommerce development and usage.
- Ensure the security and integrity of WooCommerce websites by implementing necessary security measures and monitoring for vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular backups and maintenance of WooCommerce websites to ensure they are always up and running smoothly.
- Maintain and update product catalogs, pricing and inventory data in WooCommerce.
- Manage and analyze customer data and behavior to improve marketing and sales strategies for online stores.
Required Knowledge:
- Integrate WooCommerce with various payment gateways, such as Authorize.Net, to ensure smooth online transactions.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX standards and trends across all devices and platform.
- Ability to analyze, diagnose, and resolve errors related front-end programing
- Communicate effectively and clearly, in writing and orally, both in one-on-one and in group presentation situations
- Understand SEO best practices and implementation
- An ability to effectively work with creative team to translate visual designs and content into functional Email and Web interfaces
- Minimum 5+ years programming experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related preferred
- Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills.
- Experience with JS frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Experience with using Elementor
- Experience with a Authorize.net as a payment gateway
- Experience working with Content Management Systems
- Proven experience with modern web standards and cross-browser compatibility
- Photoshop or illustrator proficiency required to manipulate assets.
- Experience with Sketch is a plus (component based design).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
