Tong Sui is one of the most popular dessert shops in the bay area. “Tong Sui” is a Cantonese term that conveys the essence of thoughtfully prepared, traditional desserts, and Tong Sui Sunnyvale shop captures that with their hearty teas, fresh smoothies, and coconut puddings. Tong Sui prides itself on using local ingredients, like organic milk from Alexandre Family Farm.

Morning Shift (11:30 AM - 4:00 PM) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter
• Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g milk preference, ice level, sweetness level, toppings)
• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
• Communicating with customers in person and via phone and text with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and appealing space for customers and employees, in accordance with operations and sanitation and safety rules.
• Communicates and works well with others, acts maturely and professionally.
• Takes initiative to get work done; can work independently and as a team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment that makes for both happy employees and happy customers.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in applied position is a plus
• Great attitude and willingness to learn while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Full time, or part time with minimum 20 hrs per week committed
• Must provide a valid social security number/legal documentation to work in the United States & successfully pass a background screening to be considered for hire
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
