Lakeside MRI & Diagnostic Center is currently hiring for an Afternoon/Evening Front Desk Receptionist.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.

Responsible For:

• Greeting patients in a pleasant, polite and cooperative manner.
• Answers the telephone by the third ring, directs calls, takes messages, uses overhead paging system, and responds to routine questions.
• Ensures registration forms are filled out completely and are updated, obtains current insurance information from patients, and collect co-payments from patients.

• Check in patients and schedule walk in appointments
• Make new patient packets
• Performs additional related tasks as requested.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possesses effective communication skills including telephone etiquette
• Professional attitude, demeanor, and appearance
• Basic understanding of computer systems and computerized scheduling systems
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Must be able to work under stress and be emotionally capable of coping with complex and/or changing conditions
• Requires the ability to prioritize, problem solve, make sound decisions, and work as a team
• Bilingual a plus!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
