Front Desk Receptionist - Chemical Dependency Complex
Job description
Qualifications/Work Schedule: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
12 months, Monday-Friday from 8:00-5:00, one-hour lunch break
As established by Region IV Mental Health Services in accordance with current salary scale
(General Responsibilities)
Answer phones in a timely manner
Take messages, transfer calls and return calls as needed
Refer emergencies to the appropriate staff, whether face to face or via phone Handle patient concerns and refer to County Administrator if needed
Be courteous to callers and people entering the office
Display exceptional customer service skills by treating others with respect Schedule appointments
Maintain current documentation as required in the HER
Adhere to all agency and business department requirements
Participate in all staff and agency meetings
Be punctual while performing duties
Maintain a positive attitude
Work collaboratively with treatment team staff
Establish a positive professional rapport with admin. staff and outside agencies Take initiative in performing job duties
Adhere to American Counselor Association's Code of Ethics
Adhere to agency policies and procedures
Complete all training requirements
Possess the ability to work independently and readily adapt to change
Adhere to agency dress code
Participate in quality assurance program
Adhere to any duties directed by the Executive Director, Clinical Director, Adult Director and County Administrator
(Front Desk)
Collect Payment for services prior to service provision
Balance register at the end of the day
Count the cash box at the beginning of the day
Maintain daily deposits
Complete and submit cash fo1ms and receipt reports to billing weekly
Assure IRS sign in at every appointment and ensure all info. is correct in the system
Post holiday closings on all entry doors at least 2 weeks prior to the holiday Process incoming interoffice mail
Order maintenance and office supplies through admin. monthly
Consult with outside agencies as needed to benefit the client
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15,300.29 - $20,800.00 per year
