We are looking for dedicated Front Office Receptionist to join our team! We are a growing 24-hour emergency pet hospital providing compassionate care whenever patients and their owners need it.

**Must be available to work overnight/graveyard shift**

The Emergency Pet Hospital of Redlands - we specialize in emergency and critical care for animals. We are passionate about helping your pet get back to normal as quickly and efficiently as possible. We are open 24 hours, 7 days a week to assist you and your pet when you need it most.

About the role:

The front office receptionist executes and carries themselves as a representation of the EPHR. Receptionists provide top-notch customer service, working patiently and compassionately with clients in various emotional states, while being attentive and empathetic to client and patient needs. Receptionists are responsible for patient check-in/out and providing great customer service at the front of the hospital.

Receptionist responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Answer phone calls and handle client callbacks when applicable.
  • Client check-in/out.
  • Accurately executes financial transactions.
  • Manage record requests between other hospitals and specialty practices.
  • Ensure that daily deposits are accurate and balance.
  • Applies policy and procedure to achieve superior pet care.
  • Maintain client profiles regarding the information on the health and wellbeing of their animal, alongside all pertinent information that will elevate the client experience.
  • Manage all other assignments/tasks as instructed by management.
  • Provides communication with management regarding challenges and opportunities within the facility and offers solutions.

Education/Qualifications/Experience you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • EMR/EHR experience a big plus.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be able to multi-task.
  • Love for all animals and a passion for their well-being.
  • Professional curiosity and willingness to learn veterinary medicine.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Work with a sense of urgency and compassion while maintaining a professional mannerism.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Must be able to work all shifts including weekends, days, and holidays.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
