BILINGUAL FRONT DESK RECEPTIONISTS NEEDED - you MUST be able to speak fluent English and Spanish.

Suarez Physical Therapy is a dynamic physical therapy practice looking to hire an experienced Front Desk Receptionists with physical therapy experience. The perfect candidate will be professional, ethical, meticulous, self-directed, a team player and efficient.

We bring all of our experience to bear in caring for our patients, whether at the front reception desk or in clinical delivery. When a client comes to us, they experience care in ways that make them part of our family.

The location for this position throughout your training period will have you rotate throughout each clinic. This position is full-time. We are looking to fill 3 positions:

  • Lake Mead office: Monday through Friday; 10:30am to 7:30pm

What we need from you:

  • This is NOT a slow medical office. You need to be a quick learner. We will train you, but your ability to take EXCELLENT notes, and ability to multi-task and process a lot of information will make you successful on this team.
  • Your excellent computer skills, attention to detail, scheduling accuracy, organization, and math skills are essential.
  • Understanding of medical insurance, insurance carriers and insurance verification helps!
  • Your previous experience in a physical therapy front office setting is beneficial. PT offices are different. Patients come in 2-3 times per week. You will help them keep on track with their visits.
  • We service many Spanish-speaking patients, and the right candidate MUST BE FLUENT IN in Spanish AND English. Not being able to speak Spanish means you cannot field phone calls.
  • You must be polished and professional in appearance and communication skills.
  • You must be energetic and positive!
  • You must be friendly, patient, helpful, dependable and a team player.

We prefer that you have:

  • A minimum of 1 years experience in a medical office setting
  • Knowledge about commercial and government insurances in Nevada
  • ICD-10 understanding
  • EMR experience (WebPT preferred)
  • Liens and Medical Records experience a plus

You will be asked to do the following on a daily basis:

  • Front desk reception: answering phones and attending to patients in a pleasant and professional manner
  • Opening / closing office procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Assisting our patients’ requests (letters, notes, etc.)
  • Faxing Rx, letters, etc. to our referring physician partners and attorney offices
  • Scheduling patient’s appointments, making sure active authorizations and Rx are verified
  • Collecting copays and co-insurance, settling old balances
  • Scheduling future appointments per the patient’s treatment plan
  • Processing new patients’ paperwork and verifications
  • Confirming next day appointments
  • Preparing the next day schedule for the team
  • Confirming monthly eligibility
  • Running daily reports

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
