Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of office terminology, equipment, procedures, and English;
Ability to operate a computer and other office machines;
Knowledge of standard office software applications;
Possesses a professional manner;
Ability to effectively communicate with the public and patients with courtesy and tact;
Ability to follow and understand oral and written directions related to tasks;
Ability to understand and follow organizational policy and procedure;
Ability to effectively prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines;
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships;
Ability to communicate well in both oral and written form;
Ability to maintain confidential information;
Knowledge of clinical documentation methods and organizational documentation
requirements;
Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals, including peers, managers,
patients, and the public;
Ability to work as a team player.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General Statement
Under the direction of the Clinic Administrator, performs clerical and receptionist work involving
answering organizational telephones, greeting the public, directing individuals to the appropriate
destinations, provides clerical and project support, word processing, may be required to take
minutes of meetings.
Statement of Duties:
Answers the telephone, greets the public, directs inquiries, and maintains a welcoming and
professional environment;
Makes appointments, monitors scheduled appointments as directed;
Alerts Clinic Administrator to areas of concern;
Works collaboratively with other staff;
Establishes and maintains files;
Maintains patient confidentiality;
Receives payments and issues receipts, as directed;
Manages telephone calls in accordance with organizational policy;
Ensures that communication coming into the organization reaches its intended and appropriate
destination;
Provides support for office personnel as directed;
Assists in gathering and processing necessary data required of the organization, at the direction
of the Clinic Administrator;
Manages the medical record, ensures that required documentation is complete and present,
ensures the security of medical records;
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships;
Maintains consistent and required communication with the organization's corporate office, as
delegated and assigned by the Clinic Administrator;
Adheres to the policy and procedure of the organization;
Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
