Join the friendly Country Inn Walker team as the Front Desk Manager! The FDM assists the General Manager in daily operations to ensure efficient and profitable operation by performing various duties, or through subordinate supervisors. Duties include but are not limited to supervising 5-20 employees throughout the hotel, addressing complaints and resolving problems creatively using resources, training staff, creating a positive culture, following policies and procedures, and treats others with respect and consideration at all times. This position does require day, evening and weekend availability.

Education and/or Experience: Previous customer service experience and hotel experience preferred. Must possess a high school diploma or GED and be 18 years of age or older.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of computers including use of the internet, mouse, keyboard and word processing.
