Forklift Operator

Employees will be working in a warehouse facility loading and unloading trucks. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of recent warehouse experience as a forklift operator and be able to pass written forklift test. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company!

Location: Tifton, Georgia

Pay: $12/hour

Days: Monday-Friday, 7a-4p

Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator include:

• Worker will be loading and unloading pallets from trailers and placing them in the warehouse. Warehouse is not climate controlled and conditions will be hot/cold

• Transporting materials to different locations within the facility. This is mainly done using the forklift however there are instances where the employee will be required to manually load/unload product. It is typically 80% forklift and 20% manual labor. Product averages at 35-50 pounds each.

• Optimizing Loads to ensure operational efficiency by adhering to safety management and production standards. Productivity will be tracked, monitored and evaluated for productivity, quality and safety

Qualifications for the Forklift Operator position:

• Be flexible and able to work Monday through Friday

• At least 2-3 years previous Forklift Experience (Certification not required)

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

• Will be required to take and pass a written forklift test
