Now Hiring a Food Service Supervisor in Marksville, LA!

The Food Service Supervisor will assist with overseeing the following operational functions: culinary, safety, and sanitation. This person will also manage and oversee a team of associates. In addition, this person will have the following responsibilities:

Planning, directing, organizing, and coordinating the activities of the department to provide outstanding dining options to our client, establishes policies to provide administrative direction for menu formation, food preparation, distribution and service, budgeting, purchasing, sanitation standards, safety practices, staffing, and staff development. Assures compliance with standards of practice and regulatory requirements.

This role will travel up to 75% of the time to assist other units within the state of Louisiana.

Key Accountabilities:

Manage all functions of the food service department and resources.
Confers with the DM or other departments regarding the technical and administrative aspects of dining service.
Interview staff, coach and develop, manage employee disciplinary action, etc.
Ensures account is meeting all budgetary targets and forecasts.
Reviews and implements QA programs.

Minimum Requirements:

Food service management/supervisor experience
Eligible to drive our company vehicles
Some culinary background skills
Needs to have good computer skills
Mathematical and analytical skills
Ability to travel up to a week away at a time
Inventorying, food ordering, and some financial experience
