Food Service Assistant – Part Time

The YMCA is pleased to offer a Part-Time position with our Food Service Team. This person will be cross trained in various areas of our kitchen and meal preparation. Compliance with the CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program) and HEPA (Healthy Eating Physical Activity) standards will be followed. Previous institutional food service experience and CACFP is preferred but not required. We will train the right person.

Hours: Monday - Friday 6am - 10am

$10.80 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. This person must be punctual, clean, detail oriented and able to keep accurate records.

2. Be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.

3. Have CPR and First aid certification prior to or within 60 days of hire.

4. Be at least 16 years old

5. Be passionate about the YMCA mission and vision and must personally advocate and demonstrate the core values of honesty, respect, responsibility and caring.

6. Have CPR and First Aid Certification prior to or within 60 days of employment.
