The Gluten Free Baking Company is a local contract bakery located in Tualatin, Oregon. We produce a variety of Gluten Free products ranging from bread, hot dog and burger buns, and cookies. We are hiring for day shift positions

Manage your work/life balance with a 3,4 or 5 day work week with consecutive days off! No weekends, our workweek is Monday Through Friday

Possible shifts include:

• 4am-4pm
• 5:30am-5:30pm
• 9:30am-9:30pm ($17.50 Oven Operator)
• 11am-11pm

No experience is required, we do all the training in-house!

We offer great medical, dental, and vision insurance through Regence and Moda (company covers majority of premiums, $12.81 per week for employee only coverage!), up to 12% of wages placed into a profit sharing retirement account and 3% company provided 401(k) guaranteed match plus optional employee contribution. That's up to 15% of your yearly wage fully provided by the company (not a single cent taken from your paycheck!).

Our night premium applies to hours worked between 6pm-6am, up to $20 extra per shift! A $500 bonus will be applied to successful employees who complete 90 days of employment and the second payment of $500 will be paid upon completion of 6 months of employment. Employees who work at least 20 hours per week qualify for Medical, Dental and Vision insurance!

All applicants must be 18+, undergo a background check and drug screen (excludes THC). English or Spanish required. Must be currently authorized for employment in the U.S

Due to manufacturing guidelines, piercings are not permitted on the production floor

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

• Produce various batters by mixing recipes, setting up machines, operating machines, lifting product, and measuring ingredients
• Maintain a clean work area by scraping machines, washing, using hot-water hose, squeegee, bucket, and towel as needed
• Lift objects (e.g.: mix) of various dimensions chest high up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Stand, walk, climb ladders to dump mix, and move rapidly for extended periods of time.
• Bend, stoop, balance, crouch, push, pull, lift, grasp, feel, perform repetitive movements, and reach frequently
• Perform basic math (add, subtract, divide and multiple) and compute weights and measures.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures and department policies that apply.

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
