Currently, MPG is seeking to hire an experienced Foil Stamp Operator for our location at 9301 Globe Center Dr, Morrisville, NC 27560. If you possess the required skills and experience as outlined below, please submit your resume for consideration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Experience of locking up dies for correct position on honeycomb bed.
• Set up and operate Bobst Machines to specified speeds and production rates.
• Test samples for correct paper properties and characteristics before production
• Knowledge of brass verses copper and counters.
• Compare production output to samples provided to evaluate accuracy of operation throughout production
• Knowledge of spotting dies for quality stamping of image.
• Inspect and monitor equipment for safety issues and request maintenance as needed
• Develop a proper understanding of process setup, adjustment, procedures, adjustment, procedures, and equipment capabilities order to operate the machine with excellence
• Knowledge of correct heat temperature for different foil and dies.
• Knowledge of correct amount of pressure for stamping or embossing.
• Clean and maintain machinery and equipment to guarantee quality performance
• Experience with stamping and embossing at the same time.
• Record and document all required process information
• Experience with Uni-lock system a plus.
• Experience with stamping on various substrates form paper to Synthetics.
• Ability to lock up multiple dies of same image and get the same emboss results across the sheet.
• Ability of loading film ribbons and advancing to utilize as much foil as possible reducing waste.
• Ensure that production, quality and efficiency goals are met
• Perform all other elated duties and projects as assigned by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to read and follow written work instructions
• Typically requires a minimum of 3 years experience
• Skilled in adjusting powered machines using hand tools
• Ability to conduct accurate measurements using the proper tools
