Tatsu Ramen in Pasadena, CA is looking for servers to join our 30+ person strong team. We are located on 319 S Arroyo Pkwy in Pasadena, CA.

THIS POSITION REQUIRES FLEXIBLE AVAILABILITY. THIS POSITION HAS OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH WITHIN THE COMPANY.

Front of House Staff Responsibilities:

• Receiving and confirming walk-in, telephone, and online orders.
• Ushering diners to their tables and providing them with drinks.
• Accepting and informing the relevant staff about food and beverage requests.
• Understanding customer allergies and providing pertinent information to customers regarding menu items.
• Transporting food orders from the kitchen to each table.
• Clearing tables once guests have completed their meals, or upon request.

• Front of House Requirements:
• Excellent communication and memorization skills.
• Great interpersonal skills and team-oriented behavior.
• Ability to remain composed, particularly during stressful or uncomfortable circumstances.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to perform additional duties to facilitate the restaurant's operations, as needed.

Compensation

$15.00-$16.00 DOE

About Tatsu Ramen: Tatsu was the brainchild of Tommy Nadeau, who fell in love with Tokyo and its lively ramen scene. He flew out multiple chefs from Japan to make the perfect ramen bowls that can be customized to personal tastes and preferences. Meat lovers, vegan, and gluten-free foodies can now enjoy a hearty bowl of ramen side by side happily. The umami broths are made in-house daily from scratch and takes at least 14 hours – keeping the good ol’ tradition of labor of love. “Tatsu” means dragon and opened its door in 2012, the year of the dragon.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.11 - $19.00 per hour
