Floating Direct Support Professional (Residential)

Our House Inc. is seeking Floating DSP's for our Residential Programs. The Floating DSP will be required to work in any of the following towns within our Residential Group Homes: Basking Ridge, Berkeley Heights, Bound Brook, Bridgewater, Millington, Livingston, Summit, and Westfield.

Responsibilities include:
- Teaching social skills, money skills, travel trainings, safety skills and self-advocacy Community integration
- Medication administration
- Personal grooming and hygiene
- Recreation
- Behavioral Supports
Floating Counselor Requirements:
- Required to work at least 8 shifts per month (64 hours), but no more than 14 shifts (112 hours) per month. 32 hours per bi-weekly pay period (Two 8 hour shifts a week)
- Requirement of working one weekend shift.
- Approval is required to work more than 112 hours per month.
- Floating Counselors are not permitted to deny more than three (3) shifts per months.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- Computer literate (e-mail, web, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel)
- *New Jersey driver's license and a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
