Position can be based onsite in Irvine, CA (hybrid model) or open to US remote.

The Financial Consultant will be a key finance business partner to the Neurovascular Financial Planning and Analysis driving value. This role will be involved in the Financial Reporting revenue planning and analysis of world-wide Neurovascular financials. This position will be a key participant in consolidating and reporting financial performance of the operating unit.

This position will collaborate cross functionally to produce accurate and timely financial information to enhance forecast accuracy and better planning decision.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Work closely with the Neurovascular Finance team and Neurosciences Portfolio Financial Planning and Analysis, and Neurovascular General Manager
  • Support the Director and Senior Director of Neurovascular Finance and the General Manager with financial reporting and presentations
  • Build complex financial models in Excel to support financial targeting, modeling and “what if” scenarios for regions and functions
  • Prepares reports of findings and recommendations, and consolidates financial plans and provides insights to management
  • Ensure financial systems for revenue, margin, costs and profit are accurate for each function and OLM for quarterly LBE’s, forecasts, 10Q, AOP and Strategic Plan
  • Provide cost center budgeting and forecasting support for business partners
  • Perform Ad-hoc analysis

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting (8+years with an Advanced degree)

  • Demonstrates strong business acumen with understanding of key drivers of success.
  • Commercial Finance and FP&A experience.
  • Demonstrated success in business partnering initiatives across commercial, functional teams and cross functional teams.
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization and build trust across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Design, develop and implement value-added business analytics and metrics.
  • Financial planning, budgeting, and modeling.
  • Tenacious, hands-on mentality, capable of executing under pressure.
  • Analytical proficiency to derive insights from large and complex sets of business data.
  • MS Office (Excel, Power Point and Word) proficiency.
  • Manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and able to work to deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organization and build trust across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership, team building, and interpersonal skills
