As the Financial Analyst, you will assist with fiscal monitoring reviews of grants and perform compliance testing according to specific criteria.

Job Scope:
  • Examine and review of accounting records, financial statements, management practices, and internal controls to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and/or regulations as well as agency policies, regulations, and contract provisions.
  • Prepare financial summaries, schedules, and attachments needed to determine areas of compliance and/or non-compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, policies and/or procedures, or needed to support the findings and recommendations of the review.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Accounting/Financial analysis experience
  • Knowledge of accounting methods, business practices, financial monitoring procedures, legal contracts, business law, and financial statutes and instructions.
  • Ability to work, analyze and consolidate numerical details and accounting data into concise and succinct reports.
  • Ability to prepare and clearly present complex data in spreadsheet formats.
About this position:
  • Project Term: ASAP – Aug. 31st, 2023; possibility of extension/permanent placement
  • Rate: $25.00/hr.
  • Location: Remote to Austin, Houston, San Antonio, & DFW
  • Days/Hours: Monday through Friday, 8-5
