Job Description Summary:
Faegre Drinker has an opportunity for a Finance Intake Manager to work with our Finance team in our Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Chicago or downtown Indianapolis office. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to leading and mentoring the specialists in all client, matter, timekeeper and billing rate setups in the firm’s financial system. This position will work with other talented individuals who share a passion for doing great work in the best interest of our clients.
Job Description:
What you would do:
- Provide resource planning, hiring, supervision and work direction to finance intake specialists.
- Regularly coach, mentor, evaluate and recognize staff performance and accomplishments.
- Provide technical and analytical support to facilitate business process improvement through effective use of technology and internal control procedures.
- Identify areas for improvement, analyze processes and recommend solutions for increased efficiency.
- Participate in defining, testing and supporting future software, including the implementation of Elite 3E.
- Open, maintain and close clients and matters.
- Set up and maintain timekeepers and bill rates.
- Clearly understand and ensure appropriate approvals granted for all maintenance.
- Provide research and reporting as needed.
- Facilitate the annual exception rate review process.
- Special projects and duties, as assigned.

What is required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; equivalent years of work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 2-4 years of experience with financial applications required; supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Elite financial applications, and Intapp Open preferred.
- Experience within a law firm or large professional services operation preferred.
