Job description
The Diocese of Sioux City is seeking a full time Finance Assistant to provide accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash receipt data processing services for the Finance department and clerical support to the Director of Finance. High School diploma or equivalent required. Some college courses in accounting, business or finance desired. One or more years’ experience in secretarial or office clerical duties necessary. Competency with computers required, including word processing skills, with knowledge of databases and spreadsheets preferred. Excellent organizational and communication skills required, including the ability to deal tactfully with the public; confidentiality in all work required. Working knowledge of the Catholic Church helpful. Position includes full benefit package, as well as ½ of tuition paid for dependent children enrolled in K-12 Catholic Schools
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
