$21.92/ hr
Role and Responsibilities
- Review submitted files for all IYIP participants after enrollment to ensure all pertinent documents are included
- Provide reports to case managers in the absence of necessary files
- Responsible for all data entry necessary for tracking applicant information
- Create an electronic filing system on the shared drive for electronic file storage that is efficient, making updating and retrieving files simpler. Organize paper files that were scanned for destruction and/or storage.
- Update electronic files by scanning paper documents to electronic computer files.
- Deal with all requests to access files.
- Follow policies and confidentiality dictation to safeguard data and information.
- Communicate regularly with management on status of scanning and any concerns or problems.
- Maintain confidentiality of records in handling, scanning, organizing, sorting, destruction and storage of records.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- The above level of knowledge, skills, and abilities are normally acquired through completion of an Associate degree, or equivalent level of knowledge obtained through work experience in an office setting as a former file or scanning clerk.
- Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule and to adapt to changing priorities; able to work under pressure.
- Detail oriented with strong problem solving organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, word, excel, power point etc.
- Mental agility - can think quickly, make sound decisions, and improvise when things do not go as planned
- Initiative – highly motivated, self-starter able to recognize and implement tasks before being asked
- Must pass criminal background checks
Working conditions
· Risk involved with travel on main highway, side streets and rural roads during business travel, including occasional evening and weekend meetings and events. This job involves standing for long periods as well as stooping, squatting, lifting and climbing. Must be able to travel, enter and exit a vehicle without assistance and withstand exposure to adverse weather conditions.
