What does an Field Sales Manager do at Swire Coca-Cola?

The Field Sales Manager is responsible for representing Swire Coca-Cola USA as a professional sales leader. The FSM promotes the growth and development of Coca-Cola and its allied products, executes the promotional activity, and ensures that all accounts are executed and serviced in accordance with Swire standards. Responsibilities include coaching and developing the selling capabilities of all direct reports, and strong relationship building with all customers. The SM is also required to understand and deliver volume and revenue goals, utilizing sales tools and programs designed to increase sales.

Responsibilities:
  • Deploy a general manager mindset to deliver key aspects of short- and long-term brand/category strategies that position Swire for success.
  • Leverage strong Commercial knowledge to identify segmented growth opportunities and develop associated strategies and initiatives that will deliver volume, revenue, profit, category, and share growth goals.
  • Effectively train, supervise, and motivate the Account Managers to ensure optimal performance.
  • Promotes the growth and development of Coca-Cola and its allied products by building trust with customers, executing promotional activities, and ensuring that accounts are merchandised.
  • Sell in additional displays, new products, and other promotional items throughout the assigned territory to increase sales volume and generate additional sales revenue.
  • Exercise critical thinking to set high-performance standards, measure for success, and adjust plans to deliver against the growth agenda.
  • Analyze business results to identify opportunities for growth, define and ensure strategies.
  • Ensure Joint Business Plan is followed throughout the year, by regularly confirming with AE and the customer location general manager the details of the JBP.
  • Acts as a category and brand plan advisor to multiple internal and external organizations
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • 2+ years of Sales experience, preferably within the consumer goods/beverages industry
  • Valid driver's license with clean/current MVR that meets Swire's vehicle policy requirements
  • Must be able to operate Excel, Outlook, and a PDF reader on iPhone and iPad devices.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
  • Ability to handle repetitive lifting, bending, and stooping with 20-50lb cases
  • PowerPoint, Margin Minder UXT, Nielsen, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, DOMO, MS Teams, Spring Mobil, Smartsheets, SharePoint
