Field Operator Position

Base Salary: $26.00 to $30.00/Hr. ($70,000 to $81,000.00/yr.)

Location: Williston, ND

Wages and compensation:

• $26.00-$30.00/HR (overtime after 40 Hr./week)
• More than $70,000 a year

Job Duties and responsibilities:

• Full-time permanent position after 90-day probation period is completed.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and self-sufficient for independent work
• A set shift rotation will be required as well as on call during shift rotation. o Must be available to respond to callouts
• Operators must be willing to travel and be available to spend extended time away from home base area as needed
• Extensive job and skills training is provided along with continuous education
• Must be able to Interact with customers during, rig up and rig down of Field equipment, and performing routine site checks
• Perform customer site surveys prior to Valence field equipment deployment to evaluate the placement of Valence field equipment
• Operate Valence vehicles in a safe manner
• Operate and perform troubleshooting of technical issues to ensure Valence field equipment is efficient
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly checks of operating field equipment to ensure equipment is up to standards
• Perform duties at shop location(s) to properly maintain and repair Valence field equipment
• Utilize available technology for work hour tracking, training, daily reports, work order requests, safety hazard identification, etc.
• Utilize proper operating and safety procedures for all activities by operating within Valence’s Safety program
• Work to meet goals set by employer and yourself.

Skills Required:

• Basic computer knowledge and ability to utilize various software platforms as well as: o Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of basic hand tool operation
• Valid driver’s license required o Class A/B CDL preferred

Working Conditions:

• Primarily field oriented along with shop time for specific maintenance tasks
• Must be willing to work up to 12 hour rotating shifts as required to support the operation of Valence field operations
• Must be willing to respond to emergencies that may require working shifts longer than 12 hours for several consecutive days
• Must be willing and able to work in adverse weather conditions

Requirements:

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test as well as random drug screenings during employment
• Able to PASS a DOT Physical Exam (hearing exam, vision exam, able to lift 50+vpounds, and coordination)

▪ Must be able to problem solve▪ Listen to verbal and written direction▪ Organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology,▪ Organize and prioritize work tasks,▪ Complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda, and basic reports and communicate with individuals via email and telephone.

Education/Experience:

• Candidate must at least have a high school diploma or GED
• 1-year Natural Gas/Oil Field experience (preferred NOT required)
