We have an immediate opening for a Field Manager Administrative Assistant.
Position Role:
Field Manager Administrative Assistant - The construction administrative assistant serves as liaison with builder superintendents to manage construction and development schedules and objectives. Provides project management support to the field manager(s) and plays an essential role in handling large volumes of construction jobs with real-time communication between office, field and builder by using Supply Pro.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as the point of contact for Builders for scheduling
- Experience with Supply Pro is a plus
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, materials and information
- Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
- Assign tasks and assist with schedule management
- Make sure that builders’ needs are met as projects evolve
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
- Organize, communicate, and schedule projects
- Work closely with the Field Project Manager
- Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
Skills
- 2-5 years proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or Administrative Assistant in Construction a plus
- An understanding of PO’s a plus
- Understand and submit data and construction documents
- Ability to read and comprehend construction blue prints
- Residential construction knowledge is a plus
- Experience in project management, from conception to delivery a plus
- Experience in scheduling and working with field teams
- An ability to prepare and interpret schedules, and step-by-step action plans
- Proven ability to manage a project’s complete life cycle from inception to completion
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong work ethic and teamwork skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Must be a self-starter, works well independently
- Understanding of risk management and quality assurance control
- Strong working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, Google docs, Gmail and Outlook
- Familiarity with construction, finish carpentry, and turnkey stairs is a plus
- Knowledge of finish carpentry materials and the construction process preferred
- Previous building and or construction industry experience with background in sales/coordinator preferred.
