This is a junior-level Windows Desktop Technician position. Some Network and Sysadmin skills are a definite plus, but not required-expect to pick up a lot of this on the job!

Candidates should currently be located in (or planning to relocate to) Bend or Redmond, Oregon. This is a field technician position, so expect to work primarily onsite at client sites; depending on your location and the day's schedule, you would work from home or at the GreenLoop office between client visits. The position is currently approximately 60/40 onsite/remote but varies from week to week.

Signing Bonus: $4,000

$60,000 - $70,000 yearly

All technicians are expected to adhere to the following service and deployment tasks and activities:

• Reviews and maintains awareness of schedule at all times, both for onsite and remote scheduled activities.
• Communicates scheduling exceptions and additional requirements with our Dispatch team.
• Arrives at designated client sites promptly and with the required equipment and materials.
• Completes work efficiently while demonstrating outstanding customer service capabilities.
• Records accurate and timely ticket notes accounting for 100% of daily time.
• Maintains documentation in GreenLoop's documentation system as relevant changes are made.
• Communicate with the Team about any changes being made that may cause client/team impact

Other Activities:

• May assist with project implementation as part of a project implementation team.
• Some weekend and after-hours work may be required for project work or after-hours maintenance.
• Participate in the on-call rotation responsibilities.

• Strong ability to communicate as part of a team with both team members and clients. Utilizes various communication modes available (phone, IM, email, etc.) appropriately.

• Ability to physically lift and move up to 50 lbs required.
• Experience deploying Windows Desktop PCs in a Business or Enterprise environment is required. Experience with deployment or imaging software is preferred.
• Experience deploying business-grade networking gear (especially firewalls, switches, and access points) is preferred.
• Some experience with Office 365 administration and user-level setup/deployment is preferred.
• Some experience with Windows Server and Active Directory is strongly preferred.
• macOS experience is a plus, but not required.
• Previous Consulting or MSP experience is not required but will get you to the top of our list! (we use ConnectWise Automate and Manage).
