Our core work:

Our Fiber Optic Technicians are primarily responsible for installation and splicing of fiber optic drop cables in an aerial and underground fiber optic plant.

Core skill sets:

• Experience and knowledge of fiber optics a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with hand tools.
• General skills in wiring/cabling.
• Ability to utilize test equipment and interpret test results.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work from heights such as ladders and bucket trucks.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Ability to identify problems and the ability to solve issues with minimum supervision.
• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally or in writing.
• Ability to work overtime and weekend when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
