Job description
Looking to hire a High-Level Design Engineer in Northern New Jersey. The work being performed is for Optimum / Altice in the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT). Abacus Digital, through Fujitsu, is starting a long-term contract to provide high-level fiber optic designs.
Design work will include:
Meeting / Establishing Point of Contact on-site & gathering contact information.
Confirming the ability to perform installation of fiber optic pathway in the building.
Verifying units & design through photos taken on-site.
Walking right of way and the entire building to determine OSP/ISP route.
Creating a simple high-level design using a PDF template created by Abacus Digital.
Typical design time ranges from 20-40 minutes per design after the site visit.
Pay is per design at $100 a design, targeted 15-25 designs per week.
All work is remote / on-site with a flexible schedule. Work available immediately.
