Position Summary:

We are seeking a Federal Leasing Specialist to support our federal customer site in Fort Worth, TX and to join our collaborative, innovative, customer-centric culture. This position is fully remote.

As a leasing specialist, you will perform complex commercial real estate, leasing, and construction transactions dealing with federal leasing projects. Leasing specialists will assist the Lease Contract Support Team, interacting with various customer agencies. We are looking for a candidate who is an expert at utilizing their professional communication skills to resolve questions about delegation requests and space requirements and ensuring that they meet all current operational guidelines.

Primary Position Responsibilities Include:

• Meets with client agencies and realty organizations to develop leasing projects to address customer needs and requirements.
• Prepares the Solicitation for Offers and associated solicitation documents and justifications.
• Receives and reviews offers and recommends areas for negotiation.
• Documents negotiations and prepares award documents for review and signature.
• Performs leasing activities for assigned leases such as overseeing space build-out and site inspections.
• Develops internal space modifications to existing space with client agencies and prepares supplemental lease agreements and associated documents for execution.
• Works as part of the customers team to achieve organizational goals and performance measures.

Your Experience:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years federal absolute property lease contracting experience.
• 5 years in commercial leasing that involved large, complex projects.
• Ability to travel to different sites and various conferences and seminars.
• Ability to apply new theories and standards to solve problems not customary in everyday commercial leasing and construction projects.
• Ability to effectively articulate verbally and in writing the customers leasing guidelines and requirements to client agencies and to diplomatically deal with high-level client agency and government personnel, e.g., federal judges, political appointees or agency heads.
• Knowledge of federal leasing or contract administration software is a plus.
• Must be proficient in PC and MS Office.
