FARM ATTENDANT

Christensen Farms is seeking an entry level Farm Attendant. This position is an entry-level production position that has functional responsibility for the support of swine care within the region.

As a Farm Attendant, you'll be a member of one of the nation's top producing teams. Every day you'll be a part of providing quality pork to help feed a growing world and doing hands on work that makes a difference for the pig herd and your team.

If selected for this job, you'll be responsible for upholding our high biosecurity and animal welfare standards.

PAY AND BENEFITS

This Farm Attendant position starts at $20.00/hour. WORK SCHEDULE

Although hours may vary, the typical work schedule for a Farm Attendant is Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. This full-time job averages 40 hours a week.

Major Areas of Accountability:

• The delivery of semen to Sow Farms in IL
• Farm trash pick-up and disposal
• Exterior rodent control
• General Grounds clean-up, waste pick-up, spot spraying, power-washing, office cleanliness and farm entrance cleanliness.
• Supply pick-up and delivery
• Adhere to all bio-security standards
• Abide by all company policies, rules, and safety regulations as directed on each site
• Additional jobs to be determined.
