JOB MISSION:
Supports manufacturing by supplying them with the necessary raw materials daily. Maintains inventory accuracy by ensuring all data entry is completed each day. Checks reports to verify that entries in and out of the stockroom were done correctly. Orders materials from outside vendors that support manufacturing day to day operations.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Support manufacturing by printing and picking materials for Production Orders
- Maintain and keep stockroom supplied with the necessary parts to support Manufacturing
- Order indirect MRO supplies from suppliers to support manufacturing
- Ensures inventory accuracy
- Perform various data entry tasks such as inventory adjustments, stock transfers and updates the chemical usage log
- Collaborates with manufacturing, consolidation, factory stockrooms and purchasing to ensure materials are available when needed for production
- Participate in bi-annual Physical Inventory activity
- Performs other duties as needed
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
- High school diploma or equivalent and/or 2 years’ experience with warehousing, inventory management and material allocations.
- Computer literacy using MS word, excel and internal ERP systems.
- Lifting up to 25lbs.
- Strong organization, communication and problem-solving skills.
