G1 Facility Services, a full-service preventative maintenance provider, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic Newark International Airport Team. The ideal candidate will have recent relevant work experience as well as strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot and make repair on HVAC/Mechanical systems such as boiler's, air handling units, rooftop units, exhaust fans, fan coil units, hot water systems, pumps, lighting, ballast systems, electrical and electronic controls, plumbing and other equipment.
- Knowledge of the proper use of equipment including those used in the plumbing, electrical, HVAC and similar general trades.
- Knowledge and experience with sheet rock, framing, spackling, and painting.
- Document and record work performed as well as materials used into a computerized maintenance system (CMMS) in a timely manner.
- Respond to any emergencies as needed.
This is a 24/7 Operations, including holidays
Pay Scale: $22+/hour, depending on experience
Full Time Position: 40 hours a week possible more depending on workload
Benefits are available after a successful 90-day probation period
Requirements:- Must pass a 10-year Homeland Security background check
- Must be willing to work in a drug free work environment
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Preferred building maintenance experience or relatable trade knowledge.
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
- Must be willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekend shifts
