G1 Facility Services is a leading facility maintenance and construction provider, proudly serving customers nationally. We support varied industries, including Aviation, Food Services, and Hospitality. With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to welcome experienced Facility Inspectors to join our dynamic Queens, NY team!

As a member of the team the right candidates will perform the following duties:

• Inspect for compliance with building codes
• Perform preventive, reactive, and post maintenance inspections and audits daily
• Provide input for continuous improvement of inspection procedures, specifications, and processes.
• Assist in qualification/validation activities and perform actions to resolve issues / implement corrective measures.
• Identify and tag items in need of maintenance
• Create corrective maintenance work orders for items in need of repair and ensure that they are properly routed to the facility maintenance team for resolution
• Capture and document downtime of equipment
• Aid in the preparation of audit deliverables to be supplied prior, during, and after client audits
• Communicate ideas for cost savings, efficiency, and improving quality
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and requirements

• Must having working knowledge of all trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
• Must have at least two years of prior building, facility, or construction site inspection experience
• Must be able to use inspection planning tools and perform product audits as required.
• Must Have up to date knowledge of OSHA requirements, regulations, guidelines
• Must be willing to work in a drug-free environment and able to pass a 10-year government background check.
• Must be willing and able to follow ALL safety precautions with appropriate PPE, follow company safety protocols, environmental, and OSHA safety best practices

Compensation: Starting salary: $25- $28 per hour- depending on experience, unique PTO policy, medical, vision, dental, and 401K.

Work hours between 6:00am to 2:30pm, 2pm- 10:30pm or 10:00pm- 06:30am some weekends may be required
